Three sources told Reuters on Tuesday 22 September that Saudi Arabia had restarted the East-West pipeline and could resume crude exports from Yanbu later that day, two of them saying it was pumping at a low rate; a security source said a full restart could take six to eight weeks. Three of the line's pumping stations were damaged in the September attack, according to satellite imagery and industry sources. JMIC reported that Yanbu and Al Muajjiz crude loadings resumed from about 27–29 September, running well below the pre-attack rate.
